STL to STEP Assistant is designed for local mesh-to-STEP conversion. Your model files, STEP exports, recent file records, and preview activity stay on your device unless you choose to share or save them through system features.
1. No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal data from this app.
- No user accounts
- No analytics or advertising tracking
- No cloud upload for conversion
- No third-party data sharing
- No access to your private model files
2. Local Conversion
Model preview, mesh preparation, STEP loading, and STEP export run locally on your device. The app does not upload STL, GLB, OBJ, STEP, or other model files to a server for conversion.
3. Local App Data
The app may keep local state such as recent file names, file sizes, last access time, export mode, and unlock status. This information improves the product experience and is not sent to us.
4. Purchases
In-App Purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive payment card details. Purchase status may be provided to the app by the system so premium STEP export quality modes can be unlocked.
5. Files You Share or Save
When you export STEP files, save screenshots, or use system sharing, those actions are initiated by you. The destination and handling of those files are controlled by your device and the apps or services you choose.
6. No Advertising SDKs
STL to STEP Assistant does not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs. There is no hidden tracking, profiling, or fingerprinting in the app workflow.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. If there are important updates, the effective date on this page will be revised.
8. Your Questions
